Our cold-pressed camelina oil is rated Bioland Quality and comes from the Bioland Farm of Marcus Comtesse in Wadgassen/Schaffhausen. Like all our camelina oils, it is rich in omega-3 (up to 48 percent) and omega-6 fatty acids (approx. 19 percent). It has a fine aroma and delicate flavour.
Our camelina is grown only in mixed cultures, e.g. together with barley or peas. This is environmentally friendly and helps the plants to grow, but it also means that cleaning and processing is more time-consuming.
